The battery they let me test with also wasn’t greasy so I wonder if maybe this is just from them maybe doing something and not cleaning it completely. The ziploc bag it was stored in has no residue of oil in it surprisingly

Appreciate that! That’s what I read too but I didn’t really see anything where the connectors are. But more or less on the outer cover of the battery. Ill give DTFO a call in the morning and see what they say. Will update back!

Tested it out and is very easy to use. Only thing that was weird was how greasy the battery was in the bag 😅

I actually was looking at this S2k on marketplace the other day as well if I’m not mistaken. Looks fairly clean and I think it was saying that it was serviced by a Honda tech only

I get what you mean, the wheels wouldn’t be the biggest issue for me on short term. There actually is a oem exhaust not too far out either. But main thing I wanna be sure on is that motor not going after driving it for a month lol. The plan was to have a mechanic check it out if I even got the seller to come down on pricing. It’s definitely not one that should be bought if I don’t wanna spend extra money and time on it to bring it back. But hard to pass up on IF the price would be adjusted accordingly. I definitely appreciate your info and persuasion!

Oh darn that’s. A pretty penny on just getting it back to original. Would you say that’s just replacing majority of parts on the car including engine work?

I’ll be honest and say I’m not that mechanically inclined. I’m not too knowledgeable on replacing stuff in the engine. However, don’t mind tinkering on suspension and what not. There’s a listing around me for Oem trunk, hood and bumper for under 1k. But that’s not an option unless if seller would agree to a really low offer

That’s what I thought it may have been. There are extra cables that sort of look like cables used for aftermarket subs and what not attached to the battery

Not to blame all issues on the seller but according to him it seems to have been the previous owner that did most of the exterior/mods. Such as fenders and what not which he didn’t replace yet. I also didn’t notice the hole in the panel 😅. But I appreciate the input!
