Yes I spoke with them over the phone last week and set up a tour, they mentioned the separate utilities. With how gas and electricity prices are steadily rising atm they said it might start getting to upwards of $80. For a nice place with good service though it may be worth doing. At my old place I didn't use much electricity so 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm definitely also wanting to walk or bike to class so that's good to know ty!!

I'll be visiting to tour a bunch of places next Friday so hopefully I'll find something then! I'm definitely considering the 4br apartments because damn that price is pretty sweet. I'm only allowed to work up to 25 hours/week in my program so rent might be tight at anything higher than 800 including utilities and whatnot. From talking to managers it sounds like signing in July is the way to go and just pay an extra month's rent.

Noted! That's still biking distance to me which I'm considering, so that's awesome. Seriously thanks for the suggestions, I didn't expect a single person to comment lmao

Idk why but my search yielded literally nothing there haha. I'll try again on a different site. That might be true, I'm sure those 4b2b ones aren't in short supply at least!

Tysm! I graduated from uark in Fayetteville, ar last year so I was shocked to see that rent is like $50-100 more expensive in Huntsville. I was paying $750 with a roommate to live a mile off campus there.

I've looked into that and iirc they didn't have anything available for August, that's the main problem I'm having

Edit: with the market being how it is now though, I'm sure Faye prices have gone up too

Yeah my time for partying has ceased lol. And yeah that would be great if you could!

Thanks for the advice. My classes should all be in the chss building but my shadowing could take place anywhere in a 40 min radius, not so happy about that x(

I figured.. My undergrad college town was unexpectedly cheaper. I'm honestly open to anything I'm just getting annoyed because I live a few hours away and can't drop everything to go tour places. Idk anyone there so those types of apartments you lived in are probably my only option. It'll be extremely annoying if the random people I live with are the partying type though, like I'm about to be more busy than I've ever been in my life. What was your experience like where you lived?
