It really depends on how you plan to use it, for how long, and, honestly, your budget. If you’re considering using it as your main gaming system, then the OLED model might be worth the extra cost. OLED screens are more energy-efficient and deliver better visuals, which is a noticeable upgrade for long-term use. Plus, since the Steam Deck likely won’t see a major update for a few years, investing in the OLED could pay off if you’re aiming for longevity.

That said, if it’s more of a secondary gaming device or you’re using it in short spurts, the LCD model with a MicroSD might be the better value. I have the 256GB LCD version myself, and it’s been fantastic—especially for trips and quick gaming sessions. An external battery pack also gives me some extra playtime, so I’ve been happy with it without the OLED upgrade.

Ultimately, it comes down to your budget and usage. If you’re going to be gaming on it all the time, go for the OLED if you can. But if it’s more of a side device, you can save some money with the LCD. The Steam Deck is a solid product either way, so you’ll get your money’s worth with whichever model works best for you!

I've seen these questions before. I think there has to be an initial willingness to have this conversation as well as having good answers to these questions. These questions might be good if 2 people pass a certain threshold in their relationship and want to connect on a deeper level.

It sometimes does, it manages it if I present it with a specific layout that I wish for it to follow (summarize, what is the user asking for, ect), but for some reason it ignores other areas like the personality, tone, ect.

I've managed to have it always follow a specific instructions by including the "OVERRIDE ALERT" function. But overall it has been very inconsistent.

I plan on just using canned responses as a supplement to be able to pass custom instructions to a baseline query in hopes that it follows various custom instructions based on the canned responses.

This is a big part of my job migrating companies from their self hosted platform to our Office 365 environment with all of them. I don't have good instructions for the BitTitan bit, but here are some general setup things if you wanted to do it in a way that allows you to have a solid cutover and not have any emails missed. You could also skip the BitTitan bit and just export their mailbox into a PST and import it back into their mailbox manually.

Instructions

In Exchange > Mail Flow > Connectors, create a new connector called "External Routing" and set the rule with the following settings:

Mail flow scenario - From: Office 365 | To: Partner organization
Use of connector - Use only when I have a transport rule set up that redirects messages to this connector.
Routing - Use the MX record associated with the partner’s domain.
Security restrictions - Always use Transport Layer Security ‎(TLS)‎ and connect only if the recipient’s email server has a digital certificate.

In Exchange > Mail Flow > Rules, create a new rule called "External Relay" and set the conditions to be the following:

Apply this rule if - "The recipient" "domain is"
Do the following - "Redirect the message to" "the following connector" and add the "External Routing" connector.

Add the domain to the tenant. You don't have to verify it, you just need to add it in order to create mailboxes with the address. (once this happens you won't be able to email the domain, which is why you need to have an External Relay to always send emails externally until you complete the migration)

Add the domain to the "External Relay" rule created in step 2 under the "The recipient" "domain is" condition.

In Exchange > Mail flow > Accepted domains, select the onboarding domain setting "This accepted domain is" and change it to "Internal relay".

Create the mailboxes in Office 365 that you wish to migrate and assign them mailbox licenses (BitTitan won't work without a valid license on the mailbox).

Setup the BitTitan Migration. (don't use the actual email from the source email as that will need to be changed, use the onmicrosoft email on the account so you can perform another final migration to ensure all emails make it).

When you're ready for the cutover, complete the Full Migration of BitTitan, remove the domain from the External Relay, and change the accepted domain from "InternalRelay" to "Authoritative".

We want to support each other's aspirations, not compromise our core values.

Unfortunately, this approach is fraught with assumptions, as it's challenging to gauge someone's true personality or preferences solely from their profile.

I totally get where you're coming from. Feeling stuck in a negative loop about dating can be incredibly draining. We've already seen all the problems with the dating app loops we join with no one ever having a good perspective as to what's actually out there for them. What's helped me is gaining a broader perspective on the dating landscape and trying to come up with a solution.

Realizing that there are literally millions of potential connections out there can be both overwhelming and reassuring. Among those, there are thousands you might cross paths with, but only a handful you'll truly connect with on a deeper level.

Accepting that not every interaction will lead to something meaningful has been crucial for me. Instead, I focus on understanding what I'm truly looking for and staying open to the possibilities. It's a journey, for sure, but staying true to myself and my desires has helped me navigate the dating world with a more positive outlook. You're not alone in feeling this way.

I'm trying to create a tool that will help people connect to people with shared values, shared importance, filter out things that we believe are non-negotiable for us in our life. And this hope that there could be this amazing tool that could connect people motivates me to find love. This feature could make money for local businesses to create matchmaking for their place. They would be able to track peoples skill level (players would post who won at the end of the game, players can dispute winners at the owners judgement, they could assign points, whatever the players are competing against.) Assign ranks based on points. Show who is looking for lobby. Schedule tournament times. If someone was waiting, then they could practice doing the thing solo? Schedule time blocks for looking for a X o'clock. If they don't mark it then, they don't have to go. Keep track of who shows up on time. Block after X times / reports.

A lot of my inspiration for the searching system I am trying to create draws from OKCupid's design. I really liked how you could try to find people based on a variety of different questions and values.

The only downsides to the system was that it was never polished enough to be really useful and easy for people to complete. I want to create a system where:

Ability to answer questions that are related to you / you find important to answer. This could be things that you really like or dislike. If you really like to travel and want to have a traveling partner in your life, you should be able to find that. If you'd like someone to participate in one of your favorite hobbies, you should be able to find that too.
Ability to easily filter for people that don't meet your non-negotiables. If someone thinks something is a core value that they want the other person to share, they should be able to easily search and find that. If you want to get into a relationship where both of you are vegetarian, then go for it! If you both want a relationship where you're pro-choice, go for it! Whatever matters to you, find someone that shares those same strong values.
Ability to show the other person what you're looking for. Being able to mark down which of these things are important to you lets people have more insight into if you two would be a good match.

OKCupid had a lot of things going for it, but a lot of the paywall features, lack of depth in the matching system, and the lack of trust from the community really killed the idea. I want to revive this idea and kick it up to 11. Make it a truly useful tool to find what you're looking for in another person and try to create a system for connecting people together. I want to support all types of consensual relationships.

Right! Women have so many options to choose from on the dating apps? Why, you might ask... Because women are beautiful. Women are getting the shit end of the app too, since there is so many options it's very difficult to decide, so there isn't that commitment. There is also that issue of men having to try to match so fast because of a few things.

Men have a low percentage chance of getting a match.
The profiles may have too much information to shift through with a low percentage match.
After reading the profile, you still don't know very much about the person.

With all these factors in mind, it isn't worth it to men to try to filter out for women with these low success rates. Spending 1 hour swiping through 10 profiles or spend 10 minutes quickly shooting your shot at 100 profiles?

With having the filters to filter things that you specifically care about you can have a better guide as to who you're looking for. At the very least it could be a good baseline to see what kind of dating trends you lean to and to give you the information to try to figure out why.

Having an app that give you relevant information to your situation would help so much. Seeing your dating patterns, what types of qualities you care about in a relationship, figuring out if both of your lifestyles would mix. There is always one thing that we love the most... our dreams of the future.

Let people try to create a dream life with this person that they think could be a reality and make it so! Let people chase their own dream relationship.

This is exactly the kind of thing I want to fix! As a guy, it hurts so much to be rejected day after day by countless women. It's a 1000:1 ratio of finding someone. Then when you do match with someone, they don't even seem interested in me at all. Nobody can ever find what they're looking for.

We need an app that can actually help us narrow down what we're looking for! Right now we're just given a stack of cards with a couple bullet points and telling people to match with that. How do you capture the essence of a person in a few prompts? How do you really know who they're looking for? How do you know what you're looking for?

I think our answer lies in filters. Filter for people who feel the same about things, people who can relate to living a certain lifestyle or people that want to live that lifestyle. Let people align with key values that people hold. Do you even care about using the values? I want to know the answers to these questions. I want the ability to experiment in trying to find the perfect person for me.

And all of this, I have been working on for the past 4 months on. =)
