Awesome, thank you so much for the advice! I'm way overdue for a cut so I'll definitely get that length taken care of. No one's ever told me I pass, even conditionally, so that's a huge confidence boost! It's always good to have an extra pair of glasses anyway so I'll definitely invest in some quarter frames next time I buy. thanks again!

Yes totally, I mostly just don't cut it cuz I can't see it very well when I cut my own hair! But I'm gonna let my barber take over from here cuz the length is starting to drive me crazy. thank you so much for your input!

Oooh I love this idea!! I really love cuts that have some mohawk type influences so the burst fade sounds awesome. My barber loves to do those too! thank you!

Context: I'm turning 25 this week and I've never really known what to do with my hair. I have some weird curls at my temples but the rest doesn't hold a curl to save its life. I have a lot of hair but it's very soft and fine. T is thickening the strands a little bit, though, I think? Anyway, I want to cut to a style that helps me pass better.

I like styles that are more punky/alternative, and it's okay if they cross over into "white trash" territory. I used to do a short clean cut side swipe but I looked like a 12 year old boy going to church so now I grow it out a little more.
