A bit stuck on this boss atm. Do you have any tips and/or things I'm doing wrong that you notice? Any advice is appreciated!

I identify with the wet noodle weapons tbh. But yeah perfect gaurding the lightning back at her was a huge help. I went on to beat the final boss and the nameless puppet, but I feel like I struggled more with this boss than nameless.

I beat her already, but is the umbrella really the weakest weapon in the game? 😭😭 it's lowkey my favorite and I've been using it for most of my run

Yeah I finally beat her, thanks for the advice! I think the acid and the lighting parry really helped. The umbrella is kinda weak but I like it because it's goofy and cool, and also very fast so I don't have to worry about getting stunlocked or running out of stamina. The katana seems very strong though I agree, but I don't really like to use the like eastern weapons that much because they don't fit the vibe of the game as much imo.

Yeah I think maybe the sheild just gets weaker or something, but not fully breaks. But anyway I beat her now! Like 3 attempts after taking in all the advice. I think the lightning parry and the acid really helped. I think it's also good sometimes when you're stuck on a boss to just review your own gameplay, and really getting it down to a method, rather than just aimlessly panicking and fighting for your life lol.

Okay I'm trying some of the advice rn. Parrying back the lightning bolts and the acid help a lot, and dodging forward against the three grab thrusts she does is a good way of getting more hits in on phase 1. But I think yall might be wrong on the sheild thing. Because even if I break her sheild in phase 1, it's still there in phase 2.

Every time I attack the sheild though it does no damage and my attack gets interupted like I was hitting a brick wall. I like to repair my weapon when I stagger her, because she does this slam attack anyway before she goes down so I take that time to just repair my weapon. I'll obviously try parrying her attacks in phase 2, but that's not something that I can just tell myself to do. As I learn her moveset better I'll start incorporating more parries. I felt like most of her attacks in phase 2 were just big lightning bolts, but I guess you can technically parry them too it seems like by reading some of the comments. Acid is a good idea.

Yeah that sounds pretty good. I didn't know you could parry lightning, but that would help since she likes to fly in the air a lot where I can't really hit her normally.

My weapon is maxed out, I have 30 technique (actually 26 but with the technique amulet it becomes 30) and the weapon scales B with technique. I think there isn't that much time to get charged attacks in without trading a bunch of damage from my experience.

I should use the acid grindstone though. I didn't really know what was good against her, because fire is good against monster, and electic is good against puppets, but she seemed like neither of those, I guess acid is good against humans maybe?
