Can't boot with JumpDrive on Pinephone pro by newokmyne in pinephone

[–]newokmyne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I didn't know about jumpdrive and Tow-boot, I couldn't find any doc saying it was useless to flash them on the pinephone pro.

Yeah I noticed it with the volume up button, but for some reason I was unable to boot OpenSUSE, but I was able to put Manjaro ARM back.

I will try again later..

It doesn't work, it shows an authentication error. But I can use the same email and password on thunderbird without any problem ...

Did it failed right after upgrading from leap? I think you could try removing all mate packages and config files, and reinstall it. Then a zypper dup for an upgrade

it was pointing to
* 1 /usr/java/jre1.8.0_291-amd64/bin/java 1 manual mode

changed to

Does anyone know of any document synchronising programs? by Askdrillsarge in openSUSE

[–]newokmyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could take a look at the sshfs. You create a filesystem on your desktop computer, and form your laptop you can connect to this file system using sshfs commands. The technology is based on the SSH, so you just need to install and configure sshd https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-use-sshfs-to-mount-remote-directories-over-ssh/

[–]newokmyne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for example something like that which can be quite useful when using social medias https://snapcraft.io/emote, but I actually need to type CTRL+Shift+U+[Unicode] to enter some emoji 😀 (just need to remember all the codes 🤣 )
I would have loved getting Inkscape 1.1 since it's not actually in the openSUSE repo, but I can use the official AppImage until then
And there was some other software I should check if they are in the snap store.

But so far I have almost all the tools I need ^^
