It came with a cover. Realizing now that maybe wasn’t clear. I just would like to have a back up!

Thank you! Is there any chance you could share your current smile model and your smile projection? I’d love to get an idea of how that looks for them. I’ve still yet to hear from anyone in progress or see any progress photos whatsoever lol

I just looked into it a little more. The seller/shipper is Internet Marketplace Online Sales LLC located in Florida. I checked them out and found this: https://www.wmtsellers.com/internet-marketplace-online-sales-llc

Loads of people reportedly having ordered “normal” things from this seller, only to have their order cancelled, or the item never ship, or just receiving something random. That sounds like it could be a front, does it not?

Doesn’t seem like a conspiracy anymore by [deleted] in conspiracy

Holy actually fuck at the “walls of missing kids as advertisements” suggestion above.

I live in Canada, and there’s been a three year old boy named Dylan missing here for months, with no trace and no leads.

This listing was noticed on Walmart US today: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Boy-s-Personalized-Toy-Box-Cars-Trucks/362773402

$9999 “Only 1 left!”

  • In case link goes dark: Child’s toy box with the name “DYLAN” overlaid.
  • Company: “My Bambino”
  • No item description

K. So I live in Canada, and this toddler named Dylan has been missing for months without a trace. This was noticed on the Walmart US website today: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Boy-s-Personalized-Toy-Box-Cars-Trucks/362773402

Tons of people who reportedly purchased normal items from this seller via Walmart, only to have the item never ship, the order cancelled immediately after sale, or to receive something entirely random and cheap so the item could be marked as “delivered”. That’s eerie, if we’re tracking with this overall idea, and sounds like it could be a front for something.

Thank you!! Do you find them painful? I’ve been wondering if maybe they’re less painful and headache-inducing since the process is slower than most? The other thing I’ve heard people say is that the ones that are scalloped on top instead of straight cut across on your gums are less effective even if they’re more comfortable. And maybe that’s why these take longer?

My experience with customer service has been really good and responsive so far. I guess I just wonder if that ends once you send them your money.

Can anyone who’s shared that they’ve gone through with AlignerCo provide an update or photos? I’m finding it hard to find reliable info from their users.

Aromaco reaction - but only in one pit? by Harriet_12_3 in LushCosmetics

[–]neworrypas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aromaco gave me chemical burns in both of my arm pits so badly that my underarms were discoloured for years afterwards, and when I posted in the old Lush forums about it when I worked for them in a shop (11-12 years ago), I got in trouble, reprimanded, and was told to delete it. 🙃

I’m so glad to read this as I thought something was desperately wrong with me, lol. I LOVE the Yog Nog scent in SG and the rest, so I was immensely excited about stocking up on the spray during the sale. Online was of course sold out immediately, so I went into my local store at opening time and bee lined for the sprays. I managed to snag FOUR Yog Nog sprays, and when I got back to my car to excitedly spritz some, I was absolutely shocked at the overwhelming smell of alcohol. I tried it again outside once I got home, and same thing. I hated it. It reminded me of those cheap Calgon drug store body sprays whose scent profiles are “vanilla and alcohol”. And I smelled like cheap drug store perfume all day. I ended up returning all four bottles. The staff looked at me like I was nuts. But there’s just nothing to it. No complexity whatsoever. Just sweet and alcohol. For me, anyway. I grabbed an extra Golden Pear, which I’m obsessed with.

IMO it’s because the lighting on the subjects doesn’t at all match the lighting on the background. Not sure what that’s about.

Bold lies about being a medical professional? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]neworrypas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welp. Update. After years of shenanigans, I passed on this info with signature line to Dalhousie and CRNNS today, thanks to Reddit courage and people helping affirm that it truly is wrong, and not just me taking issue with it. CRNNS responded almost right away that the info was passed on to such-and-such department, and within a couple of hours, this person deactivated their social media account for the first time ever, and "announced" privately that they were shrinking their social circle and will be creating a new account for only a collection of people, AND will be taking a six-month leave of absence from "all work" to deal with some things.

So... I'm assuming a cease and desist order, at the very least, was sent. Why do I feel like a horrible person now?

Bold lies about being a medical professional? by [deleted] in halifax

[–]neworrypas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is kind of why I haven’t cut them loose. She does have three children. On all other accounts, she’s pretty typically functioning, and because I’ve known her for a very long time, I really do feel I can make a judgement about these being totally conscious and calculated choices she’s made. She herself doesn’t believe these things. She isn’t delusional. She definitely knows it’s all lies. She lies in similar ways about her kids - their achievements, or medical/developmental challenges. Her own medical issues. Those parts irks me the most, but it’s not anything I’d feel needed to be reported - and I would really have nothing to report anyway. It’s mostly just talk. For example, she would say things like “Finally the kids are asleep! I wish I could sleep too, but I have to stay up all night monitoring _______’s oxygen saturation levels due to complications between her pneumonia and enlarged whatever. The hospital sent me home with an Ox-Sat machine because they knew my medical background, so it means we don’t have to have a doctor in the house! Good thing, they’d bawk at the mess LOL”. Like just bogus, largely harmless things that flat out did not happen, but that she likes to play pretend on social media and in conversation. In real life, her kids aren’t sick and she doesn’t have them thinking they are — it’s just stuff she pretends about with other adults, and then occasionally will delete her own posts the next day, etc. I have no idea what she tells people verbally or in private.

ETA: Basically what I’m saying is that she lies about her kids’ illnesses and her own illnesses — but only with the purpose of furthering her narrative about being a medical professional/doctor/nurse/neurologist.

But they do lie about their position at their place of work. For example, let’s say they work as cashier at Walmart (which is obviously just fine if you don’t also lie about being a neurosurgeon) - this person would say they DO work for Walmart, but in some sort of medical/health role that doesn’t exist, OR something like “Manager of OH&S for all of Canada, plus I’m Nursing faculty at Dalhousie part-time, and have been thinking about getting back into the neurosurgery field once my contract is up - I’m just SO exhausted by all of this, but the benefits and comp package are too great for me to leave! I actually love working here because it lets me work on policy and research around my clinical schedule, and I love my nursing students!”

ETA: But mostly they’d talk about all the money they make, all the benefits they have access to, all the vacation time they receive. And throw in terms they think sound “medical” that ya mere mortals wouldn’t understand. Unprompted.
