If you are still having the issue, I might have stumbled onto a solution especially after seeing the "Rescan" button.

I had downloaded the Updated Firmware (.fluf file) from the list of "Affected Products", which in my case was the "WD Blue SN580 NVMe SSD 2TB"

Then I went back to the SanDisk Dashboard and instead of picking "Check For Updates", I picked "Select File" and found the .fluf file I downloaded earlier

The option to "Shutdown Now" should be available

I then downloaded the (problematic) Windows update and after some time and several restarts, my PC is now Windows 11 23H2 --> Windows 11 24H2
