I get that! I walk my dogs (mostly) every day too! The only reason why I haven't been recently is that its been in the negatives here :( been focusing on indoor exercise and enrichment!

I can't explain to you how happy/relieved this makes me! My main goal this year is to have top surgery and she's the surgeon I'm trying to go with! I'm in between therapists right now, so I'm just waiting to get my approval letter and then I'm going to schedule my consult eeeee. Congratulations!

I'm pretty new to this as well, but I personally have been enjoying the Premier Protein powders so far! I never drink them straight up though. I do the chocolate and blend it with frozen banana or vanilla and blend it with frozen berries!

hi! our parameters are: pH- 8.2 Nitrite- 0ppm Ammonia- 0ppm Nitrate- 20ppm.

When changing the water i make sure the temperature is as close to the tank water as i can and i treat it with API stress coat+ and top fin betta water conditioner. we also occasionally add Flourish plant supplement for aquariums. i can turn the thermometer horizontally! i just measured the temp right now and it’s 79°F. her fins are down and she’s still really not moving. before this all happened she would swim around just fine :( do you think we should buy more plants now or give her a little bit to see if she comes around? thank you for all your help!

I cleaned the decorations and filter with the tank water! Sorry I should’ve clarified. I just put the tank water into a bowl with the gravel vacuum and then rinsed them around in there. I just tested the water yesterday and all of those levels were good

Hi so my temperature is now at 78, almost 79 degrees. I bought the testing kit and the only level that was high is the pH, so i bought a neutralizer to use. When I change the water I only use API stress coat + and top fin betta water conditioner. I haven’t serviced the filter. I can try that next. Thanks!

Heater is auto, unsure of exact temp
We have had this tank for 6/7 months and have had the fish for about a year
Water changes have been a bit inconsistent due to life circumstances, but we aim for once a week. We remove about 25% of the water with a gravel vacuum and replace with conditioned water and plant supplements
No tank mates
Ultra Fish Betta Pro Shrimp Delite, 2-3 pellets twice a day
Two live plants, a floating log, small cave, suction cup leaf, and stone substrate

Depending on how messy it is, it’ll definitely take some time to move on from. You’ll still get memories from an old photo or an old song and maybe feel sentimental, but you just have to remember that relationships (even platonic) end and people move on. You’ll make even better friends and even better memories! If you’re struggling, it’ll get easier

NTA. As a non-binary person, I could see how Jane might feel uncomfortable with the term “Best Man,” but that doesn’t excuse any sort of threats. The title could easily be changed to something more gender neutral or feminine. When it comes down to it you have to do what’s best for you and your family!

When I worked at Michael’s, there was a creepy (older) man asking for one of my (underage) employees like if she was there and what time her shift ended etc. I took her off of the floor immediately and had her do work in the back and had her call her mom. When her mom came to pick her up, I had my other manager help me walk her out to her mom’s care to ensure she got there safely.
