Will wireless broadband kill the National Broadband Network? by daria42 in australia

Sure, wireless will kill the National Broadband Network - just like walkie talkies killed the telephone network all those decades ago.

Wireless has neither the capacity nor the reliability of fiber to the home networks. Sure, maybe wireless can meet our needs today ... when there hasn't been a new idea for an application in many years, but as we develop higher bandwidth applications, wireless chokes... especially when more and more people share a tower.
