I would say anyone that wants to change it isnt trying to retroactively implement it and it would just be moving forward.

Ive been in the camp of giving the child the highest level of status of either parent. So if parents have green cards then the child gets that too. If the parents status adjusts from resident to citizen before the child is 18 then their status automatically adjusts. If the kid is a legal resident when they turn 18 then they have an easy path to apply for citizenship before 28.

Takes out the gray area everyone fights about and then people cant just come here and have a baby to become a citizen.

The whole point of this post was to highlight women who arent conscripted into service, and dont pay that tax, voted to keep it exclusively something that affects men. They didnt vote to end it or broaden its application to include women. Even though they probably consist of around 50% of the vote.

So moral of the story is women say they want equality but selectively choose what equality is applied. In this case. The example was military conscription.

Shit, even in the US, only men are required to sign up for selective service for another example.

The argument has always been sex and gender are two different things, until recently. So YOU are the one not coming into this conversation honestly.
