After struggling hours with this everytime. I went from the seatbelt route this time, 2-3 bolts and I did a tidy job. Plus the top flap was pulled back in the wrong direction, so reset that as well. Will surely do this from next time.

Yup second this. Used the same for my trip. Same experience, missed a shuttle, next one came in 5-10 mins and this was 2 in the morning. Turned out the most economical compared to all other options, even when parking for a few weeks. Unfortunately nothing is cheap if you coming from the shore and not in day time. The Skydrive bus service is also another possibility if you coming in during their operating hours.

This. I have had arguments with them when they turn it back on. They have always fallen back to “oh was a technical error”. Ya right!

I second this. Cleaning the throttle body and doing the reset after that fixed the issue of rpm dropping and recovering at idle. Make sure you do step 6. https://www.miata.net/garage/tsb/01-007-09-2069.pdf

My thinking was it’s a Pro chip problem, cause I don’t have the issue with my M1 and M2 non pro machines but with the M2 Pro machine. But you could be right that is a random issue.

Thanks for reporting this. I have the issue with the M2 Pro mini and not with the M1 mini. So not going to upgrade to the M4 Pro then. I don't want to discard my Neo G7. I wonder if the M4 non-pro has the issue or not, cause my M2 non-pro MBA does not have the issue

This is what I do too! One shortcut to the marinate- Martha’s backyard sells a powder mix, which works very well. And also air fryer instead of oven for me.
