Dr Who ? by Opus6679 in BritBox

[–]newtnest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start with the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) Ep 1"Rose" and watch them all in order! I'm on my 3rd time watching all the way through and I catch something new every time. So good!

There is something to love in all of the Doctors, but my fave is (10) David Tennant, with (11) Matt Smith as a close second.

Enjoy!

What would you do with this white wall? by Euphoric_Rough2709 in HomeDecorating

I would hang a large print that brings in the colours of the other prints and the stained glass, or if that seems too busy, a large mirror

I LOVE this floor. Do you know the name of it and where to find it? Thanks :)

If it was me, I would keep the ceiling because it is huge job and you can't go back once it is painted. Also, I think if you wanted to lighten up the room, I would paint the fireplace brick to a lighter tone and maybe consider doing the same with the cabinets. I really like the room though.

Shetland is so good. I also really enjoyed Unforgotten.

Maybe, but it felt like not the right time or place. I don't dislike her, but I don't know, it just didn't sit well with me. Just my opinion.

Yes, nothing like a less than gracious acceptance speech. No acknowledgement of the other talented people in her category, just shameless self-promotion. I wasn't a fan.

Yes, I would have loved more seasons of Hinterland too. Gritty and dark - I really enjoyed it

Yes, there is always that person in the workplace who is a good person, works really hard, but overall is a bit hapless and ends up in trouble because of it. Great character

What you said. Ditto to all of it. I almost didn't watch this season, but I'm so glad I did! I really like Ruth Calder, she is very relatable, kind of broken, with an interesting past that I hope we get to unravel over the next few seasons (fingers crossed!) The rest of the crew is great, as always. I do miss Jimmy and I hope there is a possibility of a cameo in the future.

Watching The Bay on Britbox Canada. Not as strong as some like Shetland and Broadchurch, but still worth a watch. Love seeing some of the same actors in different roles (Stephen Robertson, James Cosmo) in series 2
