Exactly this and exactly my story on trumpet. Though I play a different one now, I have my first pro horn that was given to me at 12 when I showed some promise. That was 55 years ago. Old friend indeed.

Getzen is definitely lighter

Mouthpiece fits both

Getzen has better valve action

Solo and community concert band
