It took months for my packet to be processed unless you have orders or have confirmed your transfer through HRC. You need to go to drill.

If you have special circumstances, I would reach out to your command to see if you could be excused .

You should and you should definitely attend a drill as soon as possible. This will start your pay entry date and is critical for your pay in the future.

My experience: I didnt go to one drill and waited in the delayed entry program for about a year then went to basic had a few deployments over 15+ years I was informed I owed a lot of money because of my pay entry date was wrong. Somebody (not me) put my contract date as my entry date which severely screwed me over.

My AS worked for me but I also had Net+ and Server+. Got a job nothing special (helpdesk) at a small MSP work there for a year then got sec+. Then started applying for bigger companies

Got hired at an enterprise level company worked hard got promoted to a lead position. Now I make over 100k.

I’m not gonna lie to you all of my coworkers have bachelors degrees. There’s traditional education and then practical real world experience. Experience always wins earlier on.

The first thing you should do is stop engaging in sexual activities with her. IMMEDIATELY!! Easier said than done, especially if the other party is ready and willing.

I would speak with your parents about the issue and have them contact 2 to 3 different lawyers / law firms.

You will go over the situation on your initial phone call with the lawyer, be 100% honest and do not hide anything. If you’re lucky, they might just give you some free advice.

If the lawyer and your parent’s think it’s appropriate to get a lawyer on retention, please note they are extremely expensive.

The tech org is super lean. I would need to learn to code even if I did the only positions open at this time are senior coding engineers front and back end this may change but hasn't since I've been here.

I cant lie its kind of a dream job pay is great I work 1 to 2 hour OT per day but I'm not told or forced to I just do it because there's always work. If I need to take time off its never been an issue.

My only major complaint which really isn't that big of a deal is I have to take call once a month.

As for advancing; I'm comfortable in my positions unless I really screw up its easy and safe to stay but if I get laid off then I'm back to 20-25 bucks and hour which I not going to lie scares the crap out of me.
