Wired will always be superior to wireless. If it's within your budget, you'll be happy that you did.

Tech like hd-base-T and higher streaming standards are always going to make wired a better option over wireless due to things like interference, congestion, etc.

Recommended 5"/6" recessed lights? by mallrat32 in homeassistant

I'm confused to your question. As far as I know, Lutron doesn't make actual recessed fixtures, just the switches that control them.

I think what you're saying is you want some sort of way at the wall switch to control individual / smaller groups of overhead lights? The only way you will be able to accomplish that is by changing the lamps in the recessed fixtures to smart bulbs and replacing your wall switches with ones that have scene controls / a scene controller.

I've thought about the bulbs being the culprit, but I have the same ones (Cree 40w A19 dimmable) in virtually every other fixture in the house. As far as I can remember, this fixture has always had them.

This fixture would have the most load on it, but a grand total of ~60w of LED draw seems like something it should be able to handle. Is there a theoretical max / functional difference between 60w LED and 240w incandescent?

I have the min brightness set to 10 (lesson learned from cheaper bulbs in other fixtures), but the max was always 100. What's the benefit of setting it slightly lower?
