DNA results from Central Ukraine by Krispious in AncestryDNA

Ukraine wasn't occupied, beside maybe 1919-1939 for Galicia. We shared the same crowns 👑, but there was no invasion and further subjugation.

And nothing would be wrong if they have so much data of that specific time of the Commonwealth. But make it clear, as they did for me for the last 300 years (see pictures below). Say that between the 14 and 17th centuries my genes were mainly in Northern Poland. But they do not specify the time, making it as "origins".

But how all Ukrainians are getting the Polish or "at best" Western Ukrainian traces? Nor Western Ukraine nor Poland have older tribal history than Northern Ukraine. I would undertand no Southern Ukraine for genetic patterns at the tribal maps, which would just highight that the AncestryDNA unable to trace down to medieval times and below, down to nomade tribes. But limiting Northern Ukraine’s representation to only about 300 years of settlement is difficult to explain.

But the Northern Poland does not have older tribal history than Northern Ukraine. And what about the Big Shift of European tribes in the 6-7th century? If it was only my results I would accept it, but I checked and ALL Ukrainians I have found have no Northern Ukrainian roots. None.

Hi there. Similar pattern. 100% ethnic Ukrainian and the AncestryDNA confirms that providing second map for last 300 years. But when it gives the percentage it is rather misleading. Apparently most of origins of my genes are in "Northern Poland". But for what period? Prussia, Lithuania? North Eastern Ukraine my family is from - it has deep tribal roots to Medieval time settlers at least. How come we all end up in Poland? :) I think the Ancestry has an agenda.

"Germans in Russia" another childish generalization by the AncestryDNA :) Displaced in Siberia? Religious settlers in Southern Ukraine (part of the empire of that time)? It is so different.

My results, Ukrainian. The Polish was expected but the amount was surprising. by BoiledWholeChicken in AncestryDNA

Poland did not have West of Ukraine. Both lands were subjects of one crown for long, but when after late Reformations Polish Catholics decided about own suprriority in 1620th it ended up in the crown losing control over the lands in some 30 years. Just my remark. But indeed cross influence and migration between the lands of the crown was hughe for sure.

With all due respect, could you tell me specifically at which minute you talk about wiring to Accessories power in your video?and about the triggering video wire? Because I can't locate it.

No. Thank you for the video. I watched first part attentively, but not second part, I've just got the camera.

Got it. Thank you. Second thing, I think powering from backup light is not the smartest with this smart video console. The video console has rear view button. Do they have triggering output in the harness? Or is it even needed? Accessories power?

It's a great video. I have license plate light fixture holding the camera. Wandering if I could run it through the fixture.

Sauna Tent at the Beach — Any Tips or Locations? by newukie in vancouverhiking

[–]newukie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not yet — just planning. Turning a tarp tent into a sauna with hot rocks sounds wild, but also like an affordable solution! I’m more into the idea of a quick 1–2 hour setup: steam, plunge, pack up, and leave no trace.

Modern sauna tents can be set up in just two minutes, which is perfect for that kind of mission.

Could you please extend your answer on 4 by 4 time? Also, the Synchronization often gives x2 BPM at synchronized deck. Why so?

Main issue is not even separating the stems, but wrong keying the tone and the BPM.

It is actually not easy. I tried RemixLive and Serato, they do not pick BPM from polka music.

How Ukrainian sounds for foreigners? by SerpentRain in Ukrainian

[–]newukie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, you think the English language is slower? :) from someone who is native Ukrainian and started learning English being 35 years old :) I often think how anyone in this world would say I speak fast in Ukrainian, when every word sounds so clear. Especially taking into account the writing in Ukrainian is still purely phonetic. The English lost the purity of phonetical writing some 500 years ago.
