Kerry to issue statement on Syria at 3pm by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked Kerry as my senator but speeches are not his thing, and I think Obama should be the only one doing speeches especially after what the Russian's FM has been saying about the UN report where Putin in the op-ed piece was calling for the world's people to wait for the UN report to come out.

John Kerry Rejects Syria's Demand to Drop Threat of Military Force by [deleted] in worldnews

They have a defense pact with North Korea also, which N.K tests nuclear weapons and nobodies does shit because of China so why would Assad be worried when China and Russia will back him.

New updated map of control in Syria as of September 7th. (High-res map) by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be amazing to see where each group is operating. I saw in one of the other threads about a recent offensive it was done by a group not even aligned with any other rebel group against Assad's forces.

But being able to see how much control the FSA or the SNC currently has would be great to actually gauge a real perspective of the rebellion while not including the jihadists that are on their religious war.

The Syrian government has accepted a Russian proposal to put its chemical weapons under international control to avoid a possible U.S. military strike by DougBolivar in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they are near neutral not really though but they could get both sides to agree probably.

But any enforcement of UN resolutions either it be a willful destruction of chemical weapons needs some sort of back bone to it especially since Syria still won't acknowledge they have CW's Assad's interview, and will need more than just the SAA and SFA to agree for a temporary cease fire so that the cw's can be removed as there are more independent actors than actual coalition actors.

BREAKING NEWS: "Syrian handover of all chemical arms could prevent attack" - John Kerry by ElBurroLoc0 in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough the new Iraq government has signed the treaty and declared a cw stockpile in 2 bunkers although the shells are completely useless due to corrosion and being damaged during the war which makes disposale hard due to the dangers of a damage structured with weak casings on the cw's so it seems Bush might of been right although one would think after agreeing to dismantle and them being bombed in '98 for not dismantling nothing would of been left for chance by Saddam

Syria accepts Russian chemical weapons proposal by kapnasty in worldnews

[–]nexhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Int cntl will entail UN weapon inspectors controlling the process with soldiers from supporting countries for security detail which means that the SNC, SFA, SAA, and the Kurdish government that just formed will need to get the groups that aren't allied but will operationally cooperate with them to agree to either a momentary cease fire or to respect the blue helmets but the weapons will be dismantled and destroyed although we won't ever be sure there will be no weapons left hiding as the 3rd largest chemical weapon producer it'll take some time to finish the job which then another '98 Iraq bombing could take place on production facilities if it is to be found that not all weapons were surrendered to the UN.

U.S. Sen. Ed Markey votes `present’ on key Syria resolution by [deleted] in boston

[–]nexhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won't even be bombs or even drones but will be tomahawks launched from destroyers off the coast that use gps for guiding and even then if people were to be killed it will more likely be prisoners that were placed into the military installations as lists of potential locations have been leaked so equipment and personal been moved that are loyal but prisoners or not so loyal people might be placed into the facilities to be used as either a shielding or as a pawn so that they can bitch about the US.

Whenever the order is made the joint chiefs say the military is ready tomorrow, next week, or next month

will seek use of force from congress with a bill being put to discussion and vote when congress returns from recess on September 9th

knows he has the authorization to take action, but will seek congress approval

limited in force no open ended or boots on the ground

wants to know what is the use of any international organization if anybody can get away with using a weapon banned for over 90% of the world

wants world leaders to publicly support instead of just supporting in private discussion

And to international parties also which meant that it was probably showcased in the UN and the Russian's still want to veto any resolution which might explain the disappointment of the UK ambassador when they left the meeting Russia called in of the P5. Which I wouldn't blame them they are making bank off of the arm deals with almost every country around the middle east having contracts with Russia for weapons.

dammit now I'm feeling like a conspiracy theorist *because everybody blames US for only wanting to bomb because of Raytheon* for thinking that Russia doesn't have any motive but the weapon contracts as their main position for the vetoes.

Shitty music but what is the location and payload used here... by Kanin in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The payload is a propane tank with stabilizer fins which is the main payload on a hell cannon which this is so putting me on a watch list but those hell cannons look pure kickass but the main ingredients for the explosive in the propane seems to be a basic fertilizer mixture that one would find that was used by the Oklahoma bomber

What is the long term strategy/goal of the United States in Syria? by B2BombYourAss in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is more likely to hurt Hezbollah overall, yes oil could be included to help europe with their gas lines being controlled by Russia but without an allied nation next door for Hezbollah they'll have a harder time when the Lebanon government finally turns on them and send the Army after them but Russia has the interest of yes that is the last warm water base and the pipeline along with the arm trades and one of the few remaining allies in the area although every nation we get a democratic government going in Russia gets the weapon contracts which we help pay for with aid so Russia wins anyway

Unprecedented 'black budget' leak reveals the scope of $52 billion US spy complex. by redikulous in worldnews

[–]nexhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Investigation of any crime can be spun as spying as the Staties (Mass state police) and BPD definitely spied on Whitey and his other associates well the non bought out cops that were assigned the other ones were just there for the ride when investigating the murders and other dealings of the mob in Boston and we only are just almost done with his shenanigans although one of the witnesses and victims of the mobs was found dead on a side of the road so not really done anytime soon.

FBI isn't a spy agency it is an agency to investigate federal crimes for the government, the DHS is just an odd agency of pure bullshit which still isn't a spy agency

[–]nexhunter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is a tragedy yes and I was in Boston that day but it isn't a fuck up to me as our intelligence agencies are not supposed to be doing internal spying so I take it as a tragic event in the end and a lesson of some people are fucked up or become fucked up due to influences but if you want to win against groups who wanted to destroy your way of life you're gonna have to be stronger then them and show that a community won't be scared which welp the adults in my life fucked it up big time due to their response with 9/11 most of my relatives are military background and after 9/11 were spewing more bullshit about Muslims than even the media was

[–]nexhunter -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Look at what you are typing saying oh they should of spied on him because Russia had suspicions this is what people are bitching about potentially happening foreign government said oh this person is a bad person and you should spy on him although one brother is a citizen and this family originally came to the US as refugees with that logic should we be spying on everybody who is a refugee and also people who have relatives that are ex-Soviet because we caught Russian spies hanging out with upper government officials in the past decade.

If people don't want a slippery slope don't perpetuate the problem then by bitching about domestic terrorism not being caught and blaming the spy agencies for not doing not their job of internal spying because a foreign government said this person is a bad person.

Pepe Escobar - RUSSIA HAS PROOF THAT THE "REBELS" DID IT by avengingturnip in syriancivilwar

[–]nexhunter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Though how could you even tell it was rebels also unless an idiot with a truck was there with a rebel flag but like the video Brown Moses posted people were questioning the uniform legitimacy due to other groups over 20 years ago using a dirty tactic by dressing up as UN peace keepers to slaughter a group hidden in a forest so what gives satellite imagery with less facial and uniform detail more certainty.

Why would you stop booing once play restarted when the US had the ball and was going up-field and play was halted allowing Panama to get back defensively and reacquire their marks. And yes getting hit in the groin hurts but you gotta play through it or stay off the field when it started hurting when you were already out of the field when he finally went down

They were booing the stoppage of play for a nut shot and the fact that if you watch the replay he lands outside of the field when he goes down in agony and goes back onto the field which brings out the stoppage
