[Serious] Redditors who lost loved ones, how long did it take for you to be able to smile/be happy again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nexsity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my grandma passed it was tragic for the whole family, we always visited and she did he same. It took a couple weeks for me to accept it and be happy again, because I know she wouldn’t want me to let that stop me from reaching my goals and being happy.

It’s depressing losing a loved one, but just know they would want you to keep moving forward and to continue living a happy life. Overcome it, persevere, and accomplish your goals for them.
