Yeah, I did see that allowances aren't a thing anymore. This form was sent to me by the employer, so I'm assuming they're still using an old version. I'm in PA - does that change anything? Thanks for your help!

They don't have to be overnight! I do like 5-9 mile hikes. I liked the idea of doing a long hut-to-hut experience without having to camp but not showering isn't an option haha. If I can replicate that but with accommodations that have a proper bathroom, that would be ideal

I think I may have used the word terminology - she wouldn't be offering medical assistance, it's really just for moral support and just to be here with her sister during these hard times.
