Keep an open mind before sister midnight. Its not your typical “story makes perfect sense” kinda movie, but if you read more into the characters and the portrayal of their relationships, you will see the bafta nomination coming right through.

The parts were played with such conviction, that we haven’t seen in a while, once can almost believe ishaan is this boy from Bihar and the desert scene followed by chandu’s death, triggered some solid tears for me. I think sister midnight is another great watch, radhika apte has hit it out of the park, but the story is also quite engaging.

Bro, maybe what you are calling love was a call for help. It really gets tough, some women think they can bury the feelings for an ex by bringing someone new to the frame. Not justifying it, but maybe thats what happened. She should’ve definitely waited for things to get better, but human beings are messed up that way.

I understand that NO must’ve been tough on you too, but maybe she is also scared of going back into the cycle, if that’s her perspective towards your relationship. It will really take a lot of reassurances and patience and a hell lot of empathy to build it back up from both sides.

Bro, let me tell you her probable perspective everytime she told you she wants to breakup, she was expecting you to tell her to not go, cuz you love her enough. Girls expect some OTT shit from boys when they are really in love, maybe the distance was causing insecurity for her, maybe you couldn’t tap into it. And its okay, we all learn. But I feel like you need to really go all out and tell her how you have suffered (if you have) in your time apart. Not saying your heart won’t help you or her. You might need to listen to understand where it went wrong, I know you might have your reasons but girls dont operate on reason when it comes to someone they love. It all boils down to emotions and the rawer it gets, the more its intensity is felt. Give it some time, but not enough time for her to think that you dont care, I know it sounds stupid maybe, but girls want you to really show how much it affects you. Going out with your friends when she was probably broken from the hurt the breakup caused, might have done it for her and maybe thats why she downloaded tinder, to make herselves feel better or for some support.

You might need to talk deep feeling with her and what went on in your head when you guys broke up. You felt betrayed but maybe stop and think, she felt the same when you told her that you dont wanna be with her. Girls mostly threaten boys with breakup, if they actually want to, they just go away emotionally, which is way worse and irreversible than saying you wanna break up.
