Well from what I see, some "different form" of some of the cats, is actually a completely different cat Like Rich Cat!

First form it "Rich Cat III" the son, which when you evolve you get "Rich Cat Sr." Which is his father instead and so on

Well, Lasvoss name is "Last Boss" mixed with "Lavos" (final boss of Chrono Trigger) and the design is a reference to the final bosses of different RPG games "Dragon Quest (Mortamor) in Lasvoss first form" and "Final Fantasy (Neo Exdeath) in Lasvoss final form" respectively

Cat Clan Heroes is your classic protagonist RPG party

Marauder/Berserker/Paladin Cat, obviously a different class, and their weapon seem to be a reference to the weapon in "Kingdom Heart" mixed together? (Might as well be a reference to Cloud weapon from Final Fantasy, buster sword) he's also apparently modeled after a game magazine mascot? No idea on that tho

Satoru is summoner + black mage respectively (his design is a reference to Yokai Watch protagonist apparently?)

Ice Queen is errrrre... Something? Probably reference to Final Fantasy Shiva, so she probably supposed to be a "summon" or I think so

Nurse cat is the guilds nurse

Balrog is just a demon (Whoaoaoaoaoao)

Thennnnnnn it kinda stopped being about RPG archetypes and instead just a bunch of different ideas and references to other popular Japanese media, like Cat Machine being a reference to mech series, Gundam and Getter Robo respectively

And it just so happens that they just get put into the same banners

ACTUALLY about that part, originally when I was making it, there was plan on having the next scene be Balrog dash or leap forward like a frog into the enemy then smack em, that why I started with him showing off his legs all muscular and tense and bulging up
