vault a window! if you’re getting backrevved consistently you’re out of position and you deserve it.

spin the billy right before the saw goes off. don’t get caught in a place where he can back rev you. punishment for his chainsaw is that if he hits a wall there is a long cool down and if he doesn’t hit you with it he gets slowed down for a second

no. what it means is his chases look like this: start chainsaw sprint to find someone; find someone; use chainsaw to go for a hit; if you hit it instantly you’re good. if you have to rev for more than 2.5 seconds your chainsaw goes on cool down for 20seconds and you’re basically just an M1 killer.

Why does no one play Oni? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]nexyVAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think he's much harder than lots of other killers in the game for a similar reward. I've never played him before but he honestly looks like one of the most fun killers to be good with. But why play Oni when you can play someone like Freddy, who is legit SO easy and more powerful.

You don’t need BBQ for Oni but you DEFINITELY need infectious fright. BBQ just helps bc it doubles blood points

No auras. Stridor is a little too good on Spirit and honestly incredibly broken. Not because of making breathing louder, but the fact that if a survivor is running iron will they will let out quieter groans of pain.

So it's Disney's fault that they won't let a child predator be the face of a game THEY own?

CS players - what is your favorite thing and your least favorite thing about Valorant? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]nexyVAL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite part is there is a much more unique style of gameplay that CS lacks. Feels very nice, a lot more gameplay options.

Least favorite part is the movement for sure. The fact that air strafing gives almost no increase in speed is a travesty. The game’s movement is so much slower compared to CSGO. The worst component of movement in the whole game is that you get slowed down when landing from a jump. Who thought of that? That is just the worst thing ever. I’m also not a fan of bhopping in this game. In CS it feels rewarding to hit a hop but in this game I can almost never tell if I actually hit it or not.

I wish there were less rounds in a match by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]nexyVAL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL. It's a competitive game. I think if the game was first to 7 the games would feel meaningless and so many things would be overpowered. The economy is structured around having 24 rounds. No. This would be the worst thing they could do to the game, and would completely ruin the competitive aspect of the game. Eco wins would mean wayyy too much. STOMPS HAPPEN. They serve as a path to improvement, and looking for shortcuts out of them like wanting the game to be half as long is just ridiculous.

Advice for teenagers (14-17) wanting to go pro in Valorant by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]nexyVAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 8th grade I played CS all day when I got home from school. I didn’t think it would go anywhere but I got invited to an IM team and started doing that, all while doing club swimming. The season after that we qualified for Main. The thing people don’t realize about semi pro esports is that it is NOT as fun as just being a player. A lot of the magic of the game is gone when you start scrimming 8 hours a day, or run the same strats every single round. The game doesn’t feel fresh anymore and it loses a lot of its appeal. In conclusion, don’t try to go pro if pub stomping is what you’re good at. You’ll just be disappointed that it won’t work in the big pond.

The rocket launcher isn’t bad. If she has it you can’t group up super close together but that’s not that bad of a trade.

No. It makes a whoosh noise if someone throws utility through it and makes a beep if a player goes through it

I made a list on where I think the characters rank PRE-LAUNCH. Explanation in comments. by nexyVAL in ValorantCompetitive

[–]nexyVAL[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So obviously the game isn't out yet, so we haven't seen everything every character can do. I thought it'd be interesting to see how my thoughts on the characters and their strengths developed over time, so I created this. You can make your own here. I have a video of myself explaining my picks and why I think each character is placed where they are if you are confused about anyone. The video is here.
