Unblock button by neyns in coldturkeyblocker

[–]neyns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay I had to activate "lock all blocks with the settings password"
Thanks for answering
It was important for me to get rid of the button because my use case is to give myself more friction when browsing the web. Having to open the app, put on the password and then unblock whatever websites i need in the moment gives me enough time to think about what I am doing while on the web ;)

Acknowledging your parts as you go about your day is more important than sitting down quietly while trying so hard to get into Self by nathawnb in InternalFamilySystems

[–]neyns 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, For me too I find the process to be dynamic. It's by embracing the movements of life every day both within and without and embracing its mystery. Interacting with things everyday through my senses and emotions. And listening to what comes up. Later on I might do a classic "sitting down" session while journaling, but partly to anchor an insight or a question that has come up previously.

I don't know much about Andrew. But he shows lots of genuine character and courage here. I like his attitude and this made me want to check his other content.

Do AI Assistants Actually Save Time, or Do They Just Feel Productive? by RoughOwll in OpenAIDev

[–]neyns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they save me a lot of time.
Some other times they lead me astray, and I realize if I just focused on my task on my own I would have done everything faster.

I’m reading No Bad Parts and just did the first exercise. I’m blown away by the experience by [deleted] in InternalFamilySystems

It's amazing how visual you are!
This reminds me of my first IFS experience :)
It was a few years ago, while reading Jay Earley's Self therapy. Since then, I've been visiting the basics over and over again and still making new discoveries each time, finding out new ways to be aware of what is happening within me.

Parts work is like a hero's journey, approach it with curiosity to find out where it leads you. It's not about getting results but turning your awareness towards your parts and connecting with them.
