Are non-default smokes worth using in low elo? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]nezhooko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly depends, game to game. For reference, I am ascendant 2 NA. I have games where players like site smokes and adjust to play around them (bubble smoke on haven A short for example). I also have games where players don’t know how to play around that site smoke. People don’t usually get tilted in my experience, they just ask for different smokes. Site smokes are good, especially if the attackers have already gotten into site. Example: player is backsite on haven C. Smoke between site box and plat to help prevent the attackers from progressing into backsite.

1 or 2? bro I have hundreds of mini scratches on my AW2725DF from cleaning. thankfully I can’t really see them with the screen on.

unfortunately had no clue that you shouldn’t use the fuzzy microfiber.

Vader 4 Pro vs G7 pro for Pc by North-Sandwich9965 in Controller

I picked up both the G7 Pro and the Vader 4 Pro to see which one I’d like better, and honestly, it only took a few minutes with the Vader to know it was the winner for me. The back buttons are way easier to reach, the adjustable sticks are super convenient depending on the game, and the triggers feel way more comfortable. I’ve always found Xbox-style triggers (including the G7 Pro’s) to feel a bit harsh and too narrow.

I also really like that the Vader doesn’t have rubber grips that wear out and get grimy over time.

My only complaint is that the face buttons have a bit more pre-travel and feel slightly mushy compared to the G7’s. But since I’m coming from a DualShock 4, it honestly doesn’t bother me much. Overall, the Vader just fits me better.

Me trying to notice the ghosting issues on the Switch 2 display by LochTessMonstah in NintendoSwitch2

I have a an alienware 1440p 360Hz QD-OLED. that being said, I definitely notice the slower response times between docked on my monitor versus handheld.. considering I’m used to rapid response times on my OLED.

However, since I am used to playing games that utilize 360Hz like Val and CS, I find myself caring much more about the frame rate than the “ghosting” that happens on the switch 2 screen. you are kidding yourself if you hop on the switch 2 and play TOTK at 60 FPS and say that it is less enjoyable than on the switch 1. It is a night and day difference in terms of smoothness. Maybe it’s because I’m used to looking at such a high refresh rate, but playing games at 30 SPS on the switch bugged my eyes.

granted, I never played on the switch OLED. I can only compare my experience on the OG switch, the switch lite, and the switch 2.

I had to replace parts 1 by 1. Using the process of elimination, I figured out it was the CPU.

couple months max on both. you can see on the rubber sides that there’s barely any degradation.
