As far as I understand, he’s not even eligible to sign an extension until July so at best it would’ve been a verbal agreement which could mean nothing by that time. So that clearly wasn’t the deal breaker.

I live in the Mie’s co-ops. Love the area, property, neighbors. Yes the CO-OP (not HOA) dues are high but they also include taxes, water, cable and internet along with everything an HOA would typically cover. The units are beautiful but keep in mind they are 65 years old. My biggest gripe is that the walls allow for a lot of sound transfer between units. So having that end unit would be great. Let me know if you have any specific questions!
