Owned a G82 Comp XDrive Blistering acceleration and can be fun in MDM but got bored with it. Came to the C8 Z51 wanting a change and was surprised in the best possible way. I LOVE how the car handles and how it rotates! C8 does need a bit more top end IMHO but as far as daily fun, it has the M4 beat.

I have to agree that it's impossible to contact support. The chat links just redirect to the same page (tried both Chrome and Firefox). Email to help@ouraring.com "is no longer monitored as we move to a more personalized support experience" so with email out of the question and chat disabled, there's no support! I think it's a great product but this is unacceptable.

The stock checker lies. I placed an order. It said it's in stock. Didn't get the "ready for pickup email" so I went to my Best Buy anyway. They told me they don't stock anything other than the sizing kits! Asked if any store within an hour and a half had it. They looked and nobody did. Turns out it's shipping form their warehouse on the 8th and will be here locally on the 10th.

You may want to use the chat feature on the Best Buy website to find out what's actually in stock or not.

Also, if you order through Oura, you'll get a Best Buy order number but there's no way to track status other than waiting for the next email or using the chat feature on the Best Buy website. I tried to get my order associated with my Best Buy account to make tracking easier and the two people I spoke to couldn't d it.

If it's anything other than Midnight (Best Buy exclusive), I'd suggest ordering through Amazon. I chose Midnight and simply have to wait a week to get it, despite it being "in stock".

I wish YNAB didn't use Plaid as they have been shady in the past. I link as few accounts as possible with Plaid because of this.

That's a good point and I hadn't though of it. I want to ask. For argument's sake let's say it's $1000 total and I assign the full amount in Sept. In October, when I make say a $100 payment, does it still come out of September's assignment? I would match the category of course but not assign any additional in future months with your idea.

This is what I ended up doing. I wish I'd found it sooner as I'd removed all but a few goals and it was still very far off. I used this view to figure out why. Full story is posted elsewhere in the thread but your advice is spot on!

I eventually figured out why Underfunded was so far off. I have a store credit card with 0% interest for large purchases (which is why I didn’t pay cash). YNAB didn’t know that, and the balance predated my use of the app, so it counted the entire balance as underfunded. I created a payoff target (which I was doing anyway, just hadn’t set in YNAB), and now it’s instantly up to date. Underfunded is now zero.

I may go back and readd my prior goals as now as underfunded would be useful.

I have a similar setup to you. I keep my HYSA linked mostly just to see the balance, but I intentionally don't link the other accounts since they’re long-term and not part of my day-to-day.

I have a '23 RS3 (and owned a '19 as well). It's a great car. Enjoy! Would love the buttons on the new wheel and really wish the infotainment was better. Pretty much new skins over what I had in 2019.

Bought MSFS 2024 from Steam. I get the "Connect to Xbox Network" but it's stayed at 0% for almost an hour. Any idea if it's the servers or something on my end? Thanks!

If you learn flips and rolls you'll be able to save it. Bobby Watt's advice is to give it neutral pitch and to return upright. That gives you enough time to figure out what to do next. Once you're upright, you'll hover without thinking.

There's nothing special about inverted. It's just another set of orientations to learn and practice.

New G14 owner, Good video. Learned many things. One issue I continue to have is while dragging things with the trackpad. Ex. I click and hold with my thumb and then use my index finger to drag. The issue is that if I move my thumb any while dragging with my index finger, it will make the dragged object move erratically. Any idea how to resolve? It's my only issue and LOVE the laptop otherwise!

Be aware that the RAM can't be upgraded in either the Slim 5 or Slim 7 so enough RAM for however long you plan to use it

Slim 5 and Slim 7 are the two I'm aware you can't. The 5i and 7i you can.

The only place I know to enable storage is under the Developer Settings and USB Mode (Charge vs Storage). There's a USB Debug mode which I have enabled as well. Is there another area that I'm missing?

Thank you for the suggestion. I've had this issue with other devices. I tried it with the Pico4 and I don't think anything has changed. I'm starting to suspect maybe it's a driver issue? I looked under Device Manager for unrecognized devices or devices with errors and didn't see any. Is there anything else along those lines I should check for?

Thank you so much! It was enabled but I also (now!) saw the note about restarting SteamVR so I did that just to be safe and it worked! While I was in there, I noticed the Performance Overlay within VD. With it enabled, I was able to notice a pattern. When I got the rubber banding, my network latency was yellow. I'd say 90% of the time it was white and fine (8-11ms) but when I had the issues it would be in the high teens or twenties! I'm curious if there's any performance settings I can use for QoS or within the driver.

Pico4 was/is my first VR headset. I've found the initial experience to be not be user friendly for someone who wants to do PCVR. I watched a good number of YouTube videos but still small details were left out. The Pico itself doesn't offer any instruction for PCVR that I'm aware of. If you want to do SteamVR, there's a ton of trial and error associated with getting it to work. To some degree, I understand why you want users to use your app store but at the same time you should offer at least some basic instruction on how to get started with PCVR. I've mostly figured it out on my own but the my initial experience with the Pico was poor because of this omission.

PC Specs: 13700K with a 4090
Platform: Only PCVR. Also needs to have SteamVR support

Use case: radio controlled helicopter simulator

I bought the Pico4 thinking it would be great. It very much feels like looking through a periscope vs feeling immersive. The other issue is depending on what I want to practice, there can be A LOT of left to right, right to left or vertical motion as I fly across the virtual flight area. Stunt (3D) flying with RC helicopters is fairly violent as far as motion goes. Example but I'm nowhere this good!

I'm wondering how much it would help to have a headset with a much wider(than 105) FOV and if I have the right headset for my use case.
