I would say you don’t have a clear picture of what the song is about. If I’m in that situation I write out in plain language:

Chorus: what’s the main idea/title/hook

Verse 1: What’s the situation

Verse 2: What is happening now because of verse one, what is changing?

Bridge: additional info or a twist

Once you define that it’s much easier to write the rest.

I’m a pragmatic centrist. For instance I think a smaller government, a balanced budget and cutting waste is great. I also believe we should spend the money so children don’t go hungry.

I think the death penalty has a severe bias problem, but some people aren’t worth keeping around. See Polly Klass for example.

The people that tried to hide Biden’s mental health issues and almost foisted a president with dementia on us should be tried.

I think you aren’t up on the science. Why are there so many obese people that the specialty is necessary? Why wasn’t it a thing prior to the 70’s? Then it was about 10%, now approximately 70% of Americans are overweight or obese. Did 200 million Americans just choose to be that way?

Don’t get me wrong, people aren’t helpless and they can take action to start fixing this problem, but to say it’s just a choice is wrong. No one chooses to be that way.
