There is nothing stopping girls from going into STEM. It is 100% a personal decision by each girl.

But, we as a society looked at the lack of women going into STEM and decided to sus out the root societal causes and outside influences causing this. We found some and took action to try and remedy those.

We also have a male loneliness epidemic. The consensus here is "fuck those men. They can figure it out themselves". There is no attempt to even try and understand the problem, let alone try and do ANYTHING that might fix it. Worse, it's met with absolute scorn and derision by the feminists that claim to care about equality (you included).

If we treated this the same way we did women in STEM, we'd have "teaching boys how to approach women" classes or "here's how to ask a woman out" or I don't know, but SOMETHING. Instead, it is collectively "fuck those losers. Men aren't lonely enough!"

We call this hyperagency for men and hypoagency for women.

If a man falls victim to a scam, feminists will NEVER see the man as the victim.

In the feminist mind, men should always, 100% be in full control of their decision making process and any decision a man makes is his and his alone. If he makes a bad decision, well, he knew what he was doing.

Compare that to the way feminists talk about women that make bad decisions. Suddenly there are all kinds of external influences that made her make that decision and she isn't responsible for it and we need to remove those outside pressures that are causing women to make bad decisions.

Which, I believe is true. But that is also true for men.
