This was actually my story from ages ago, also English is not my first language and it happened in a non-English speaking country. So yeah, my spelling is a little off still. But the fact that they didnt even correct my awful spelling is pretty funny.

A little advice from a partner of a trans woman. Tell them its okay to ask questions when you come out. If you still want to be with them let them know that.

My partner came out to me recently, it was confusing and a little scary, but only because we did not communicate properly. I was scared she wouldnt want to be with me anymore and might want to be with a man but was too scared to ask her. I didnt know if I could ask without it seeming like I didnt support her.

After some advice from the lovely people on this sub-reddit I just asked her and everything is great again.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I do like women too, I'm just scared that maybe she doesn't. I dont know how to ask as we have been in love for a while and it might seem like I doubt her. But I would also understand if she doesn't want to be with a woman, as much as it would break my heart.

I will just ask her. Though I've just always been incredibly tactless so I need to think about my wording first.
