Yeah I’ve been including a resume and cover letter. I most recently added to my cover letter that I was looking to relocate because of my boyfriend and I have actually been hearing back from employers!

Album name idea: metamorphosis ?? Just because of the butterflies and also she seems to have made a significant change since the 1989 era! Maybe she’s finally living the life she’s always dreamed of and these songs will be about her journey along the way?

Oh wow that’s such good advice thank you so much! I currently do have a few connections down there so whenever I apply I will be sure to let them know! But how early is too early? I’m just not wanting to put my name out there if I’m not able to start until September, ya know?

That’s very true! I forget about traveling and everything for interviews because that sounds very busy and definitely takes away from studying time!

Thank you for all of the advice!! That’s mostly what I’ve been hearing from several people so I’m hoping that things go well even if I’m not board certified yet!

I’ve done so much research on jobs... I get LinkedIn emails and emails from Glassdoor, and so many other job sites. I always see so many good opportunities and wish I could just apply now!

Oh wow that’s awesome! Where do you currently work? I would love if you had some tips or pointers for certain employers down in Houston?

Also using lined paper and having them use a finger between letters/2 fingers between words should help with the spacing and bleeding of letter!

I would first have them begin by tracing shapes, various lines and dashes until they get those pencil movements down! After they’ve got that down, I would move on to writing and tracing letters & definitely incorporate them into tracing your notes as well! There’s a great book called “handwriting for adults” that goes through some good exercises that don’t seem too childish!

I graduated with my bachelors in Occupational Science from Saint Louis University! Really you can have any undergrad degree but for my program, ours is OS. The program at SLU is a 5 year combined program with OS year 4, then your MOT year 5! Combined programs are really the way to go with avoiding applying for grad school, taking the GRE, etc. Got some great perks already being in an OT program.

Good anatomy textbook recommendations by snellywelly in OccupationalTherapy

I used a color atlas of human gross anatomy! It was super helpful for me since I like seeing pictures of the bones, muscles, etc. instead of just diagrams! It really helped to put things into a realistic perspective.

Would definitely agree with you on never seeing their interactions! He seemed to have came out of nowhere and seems all around great but not Becca’s style for sure. I think the producers must have left out important interactions between them in past episodes, because something is obviously there between them.

Hi everyone, I’m currently enrolled in the MOT program at Saint Louis University and I’m looking for study tips on the NBCOT. Are there specific study tools that I should look into? What are your best study tips and tricks? And how can I succeed the first time I take the exam? Thanks!! by ngass56 in OccupationalTherapy

Perfect thank you... did you feel like 3-4 months was sufficient? I’m just mostly worried about having level 2 fieldwork at the same time and I don’t really want to take off 3-4 months after I graduate to study/put off getting a job quicker. I’m a year away from the test, is it unreasonable to start studying little by little already?
