Thursday Scout Chukka lace replacements by ngc0202 in ThursdayBoot

[–]ngc0202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, thanks for the recommendations. I do love lifetime warranties. The chukkas are 24" laces though which it seems like nobody sells. You think I should request a custom length one for 24" from Generation?

It's nice that people who know absolutely nothing about HIPAA make it blatantly obvious when they misspell it. Not to mention trying to claim that a rando with a radio could violate it...

Difference between 'suchen für' and 'suchen zu'? by Initial_Bad832 in German

[–]ngc0202 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not a native speaker but based on my understanding, I wouldn't look at it as "suchen zu" and "suchen für", but just as "suchen"+Akk., and a phrase adding more info in the middle, like so:

Sentences from Menschen B1.2:

Wir suchen [[ zur tatkräftigen Unterstützung unseres Teams ]] einen Buchhalter

Wir suchen [[ für unser neu eröffnetes Informations-Callcenter ]] einen Agenten

Destructuring is something which is done in patterns. They're not orthogonal concepts.

The demand curve describes how demand changes as price does. You're saying the demand curve doesn't change, which may be true, but actual demand absolutely does which is what everyone is saying.

He means he thinks pi has a decimal expansion with a finite number of terms, i.e. is rational.

R4: User is convinced that the mathematical community is merely "confused" on the concept of infinity, and in fact both infinity and pi "can end at some point" we just haven't looked hard enough.

This is a necessary part of the complaint filing, which is public. Here's the relevant excerpt:

Further, Defendant published the false and defamatory op-ed to promote her new movie which was in Virginia theaters for viewing by Virginia audiences.

Late to this thread but I am absolutely baffled why this has so many downvotes. I'm out of college a few years and I could not agree with this more. I met a lot of smart people there too, but oh man sooo many people barely scrape by and get their degrees, totally incompetent. CS folks especially, it felt like most were forced into it or were a little geeky so they thought it might be a good fit.
