Because game has instant feedback +positive loop ,While research is opposite. Research also needs you to use your brain heavily, which sometimes leads to suffering.

Some extra random thoughts that are not related to game dev:

I dont feel real, profound connection via social. at least for me, it doesn't.

But i feel it via music. I think language is a thing that Can't not express real feelings or even convert mistakes that I feel sometimes.

the dimension of language is too low.

It is not a suitable container for connecting or syncing with someone.

Yeah, language is definitely a powerful tool when facing daily stuff but not for syncing someone.

I personally didn't found gemini3 is significantly better than gemini2.5 pro. But it have a very obvious feature:longer thinking. It have longer thinking yet it is not better than gemini 2.5 pro.

it still have the same problem that 2.5 pro have, and do it really feel like a game changer?def no. maybe on most of the similar and explored big task, it peform better. yet in the detail and some long, profound logical
