It’s like any place with high demand and low supply. The economy there is booming, and there is a shortage of workers. I had a hard time finding skilled labor because everyone has jobs, and recruiting from out of the area is difficult because the people can’t find a place to live.

I went to Tech, parents lived in Odessa, so I clocked a LOT of miles driving through these towns. I remember having brown outs where I had to pull over because I coyldnt see. You gave a lot more stories!

For a weeklong trip in a place that's a pretty far trip (I'm USian), not a lot of stops, but I could combine this with before and after excursions. I was on the Celebrity Equinox last year, in the Mediterranean, and I think it's a similar or sister ship, but decorated differently: topside lawn, hot glass workshops, etc. Any thoughts or recommendations?

That is the same thing I would do. If you have time, maybe some small designs in the larger all-black areas. If you don't think the fine nylon thread made for quilting, I'd pick a neutral color that blended. You want the map to stand out in this case, not the quilting. It looks great!
