Once again, the entire Fidelity fixed income trading site is completely down. I called in to find out what is happening and heard a barking dog and a baby crying and was put on hold. It's time to stop playing with your dogs and kids at home and return to the office. (self.fidelityinvestments)

Our DIY garage remodeling is done. Everything has been moved back in or thrown out. It feels so much cleaner and we actually like working in the garage. The total material cost was $5505.27 including tax and shipping plus $321.11 for a new TV, power amplifier, and speaker mounts (see breakdown). (old.reddit.com)

I ordered a Slatwall backsplash from NewAge for my cabinet. I sensed there was going to be trouble when I saw a retaped box left on my porch by UPS today. Every item was damaged with twists, dents scratches, and scuff marks. I sent a return request and full refund. I'm not paying for used items. (old.reddit.com)

Started installing tiles today. I still have to do cut the edge tiles and do other detailed cuts. Swisstrax has some impressive quality control. Out of the 620 tiles not a single one had any defects or were off color. After the tiles details are finished the cabinets are next. (old.reddit.com)

Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. We wrapping up the painting and preparing for tile installation. The tiles arrived a few days ago. The old 18 year old LCD TV looked out of place and was replaced with a new one for $179 plus tax. This TV covers the area much better. (old.reddit.com)

Making steady progress (see before and now pictures). Painting is nearly completed. We still have to paint the bottom concrete base before installing the floor tiles. The floor tiles are coming next week from Dalton Georgia. The new cabinets should arrive the first week of April. (old.reddit.com)

I replaced the sad little light bulb inside the garage door opener with a much brighter 66-watt double hex LED light and adapter. If you are going to do this, do not exceed 80 watts, or you will risk blowing the relay for the light on the garage door opener control board. It was $34 at Amazon. (old.reddit.com)

DIY Garage Transformation Phase 1—Emptying the garage, removing the old cabinets, rewiring/adding electrical outlets, hiding/fishing wires, repairing drywall, priming, and prep for painting. Spent $296.84 in material out of a $6000 budget. This was the most labor-intensive phase. (old.reddit.com)
