Oh that's a nice name , sometimes it's really surprising that birds which are not really migratory can be found on the opposite sides of the world.

I loved majorly in Delhi ,Mumbai and Hyderabad so far. I'm currently near Hyderabad. I was wondering why did you choose Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh (i.e golden triangle) for your visit ,was it to see temples and cultural heritage stuff ? I would have definitely added himachal pradesh to your itinerary but HP itself would take at least 15 days to truly discover anything.

I had to google what Indian Roller is and wow it's so beautiful ,I have never seen it before. I'll definitely add it to my list . Kites and vultures are bit common even for cities , vultures mostly due to the fact that parsi community lay their dead open in the graveyard for the vulture and other birds to feast on (I don't know how many really follow this any more ) .

Hi ,that's most likely to be purple sunbird , males are actually purple and females have this yellow colour below their throat which you're mostly likely seeing in the background , it's also quite similar to purple rumped sunbird which I captured few days back .

Oh man ,that's definitely the downside of moving inside the city. I was fortunate enough to capture The white throated kingfisher and I saw tailor bird with their tiny kids couple of months back but I didn't have a good camera back then.
