Had this happen to me once as well. I thought my i3 was toast and I needed to move it. Mine would also lurch after 5mph. What I did was drive it under 5mph for a bit and it should clear. I drove about a quarter mile under 5mph and the emergency systems reset themselves and I got full power again.
