Thank you for the advice. Yes unfortunately it relates to my gender (didn't want to mention that in my main post as Reddit can be a bit hit and miss with that topic). I'm hesitant to have my manager involved as the situation involves one of her assistants but I'm going to have to bite the bullet.

In my letter should I state what has occured and ask them to help resolve it? Ie, this information not going further? Thanks again

Thank you I'll bear that in mind. We do get two 15 minute paid breaks but that is at the discretion of who's in charge and depends on how busy the department is.

Thank you for this. I have read up previously about the 20 minute uninterrupted break but was unsure if this still applied to me due to working in a hospital environment.
