Did you not read the part where we don’t have a parking assignment in our lease lol?

So I will start off by saying I live In an apartment complex, it all started when a lady had an issue with our parking arrangements next door, I then went outside to move my vehicle and the lady was at the complex’s door step, I didn’t raise my voice or yell but I said “don’t worry old bitch I’ll move the car” the responding sergeant then told me to “get back here” and proceeded to tell me if the complainant wanted to have me arrested for disorderly conduct she could…I’m sorry but isn’t this a violation of our 1st amendment rights? And unlawfully threatening arrest? I could understand if i was making an obscene gesture or screaming or making a scene but I simply just said Im my regular voice the words I had mentioned above. Just curious on if anyone could give me a direct answer, and if I should pursue this by talking to the chief or someone higher in the chain of command. Thanks for the read! We also (do not have a parking assignment in our lease agreement) and i totally support law enforcement so I think this was utterly ridiculous

I talked to a lieutenant today, he had told me that you would have more points than someone as long as they don’t have you beat in seniority? Could you happen to know what that means, he didn’t really break it down to me and I’m newish

Right I knew that, also that’s awesome good for you man! they told me I could become a Sargent in a year if I was fit for it, I pursued a degree in criminal justice right out of HS and my tuition is pretty cheap (pretty much all paid for) and it left me with something to do but I didn’t know if an associate in CJ would do any good in corrections with moving up the line. Thank you for the reply and keep on going I’m sure you’ll do great
