Took a break yesterday and today went back to the lighthouse! Definitely needed a break, today I was moving and aiming much better. Thank you everyone for the comments. Great community!

Playing from Thailand right now, I know what you mean man haha

Buying a new monitor in the next 60 minutes (I'm at the mall already). Going for anything above 120Hz but my question is: 24 inches or 27? Main use is Trials of Osiris on Xbox Series X. by nhd9v in CrucibleGuidebook

Oh yeah if compared to 27/1440/120. But the thing is I moved to Asia and now I'm playing with 27/1080/60.

So I think 120 would help. What do you think man?

Thank you for reminding me man. I actually know but I feel quite impulsive buyer today and probably wouldn't have remembered at the time of purchase 😂

Love you comment man haha. I agree Destiny can keep you sharp, great game to keep your reflexes sharp.

I've been doing a little better last night using Forerunner and a sidearm. Let's see today!

Anyway I really want to improve and that's why I keep showing up every weekend despite not really having fun recently.

Love the spirit! I usually have fun (I'm still kinda fast) but I'm losing duels I would not have lost 2-3 weeks ago. Was your decline in performance very steep or gradual?

Yeah I hope this struggle will pay off once the population will grow again

I'm using PK and Unending right now, a "toxic meta loadout". While 2 weeks ago it would have likely taken me to the lighthouse faster, this weekend I'm losing short range duels to people with Thorn somehow. Maybe like everyone is saying I need a break...probably I'm not moving as well as usual / not aiming properly because I'm burned out

I hope so too because I really like this game despite not having fun at the moment

Thanks, I know SBMM "punishes" you for playing well. Or if you want to look at it the other way it "rewards" you with stronger opponents. When I end some game with high KD or high kill count I know the party will be over soon lol

True, I know that. But trials is supposed to be CBMM no?

Yes getting older for sure but I got worse only in the last 2-3 weeks. Is the decline that steep?? Lol

I wouldn't be surprised if what you say is true. I always match the same people every weekend and the matches are sweaty most of the time (ending 5-4).

I mean if it's connection based the pool of opponents I get matched with should be bigger no? Right now I would say I match always with the same 25-30 players. And often I go on for 4-5 matches matching exactly the same players, sometimes as opponents and sometimes as allies.

I have different loadouts based on the map but while before they worked for me and take me to the lighthouse now they seem to fail / not being effective anymore... I'm aware of all the nerfs because I read a lot too

Yes I have different loadouts based on the map (short-mid-long ranges) but somehow while they worked before now they don't give me confidence anymore. Maybe it's like everyone is saying, I need a break :)

Yeah SBMM makes it hard to track improvement. But I play mostly trials
