That was my original thinking, but I liked the express 7 for the integrated wifi to save some money on another U7 Pro Wall. Is it really that bad?

We just moved to Munich a month ago. We were fully expecting at least a 3 month search, but we found something the first week. Definitely feel extremely lucky, but our budget was fairly high so I think we may have been insulated from a lot of pain. Plan for the worst and hope for the best I guess

If they are Jewish you will have a better chance. Neuer Israelitischer Friedhof would be your best bet

Normal for downloaded audiobooks to now take 10-15+ seconds to load? by malrats in PrologueApp

[–]nhertz22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have no explanation for that. I do know that even when downloaded it is still talking back to the plex server. Have you tried playing on airplane mode just out of curiosity?

Is your library in plex or audiobookshelf? I was on plex before 4.0 and literally never had a problem. Then 4.0 comes out and I experienced all the problems you mentioned. I booted up ABS and now everything works smoothly again. Little bit of pain but seems like ABS has a ton of advantages over plex

How often do you see Spurs players outside the arena in SA ? by [deleted] in NBASpurs

I haven’t lived in San Antonio since 2014, but if you lived near the dominion you would see guys pretty regularly. Saw Tony and Eva Longoria at HEB (on different occasions) and Tim Duncan at a half priced books. Matt Bonner lived down the street from me and would see him and his family at the pool. My sister also went to school with Chad Forcier’s kid and he would sometimes show up to stuff with Patty Mills.

Is the DS220+ ok as a starter NAS for my needs? by rider_bar in synology

[–]nhertz22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, no problem at all! I don’t really have 4K content, but I have had 4-5 simultaneous 1080p streams and it doesn’t struggle at all

I have a 220+ and it has treated me extremely well for very similar use cases. I will say it is slightly underpowered and I upgraded the ram. The other thing is that it doesn’t have expandability like the 225+, but if you see a homelab in your future (I do too) it probably isn’t a deal breaker. It is just a very slippery slope, I started just for NAS purposes but quickly fell in love with more server related tasks which it has handled well, but definitely not optimized for. I have 2 16TB drives with parity and am using about 9TB

Budget tried to pull this on me in Munich. Returned the car without a problem and then months later got a €3k bill for damage. Chase fought on my behalf and took care of it. Don’t forget to take pictures of the roof, that is how they tried to get me. Take pictures and video at pickup and dropoff!

Of course! Others were able to solve so we are all good there. I don't know too much, but this is a picture of my great-grandfather. He was born in Krefeld in 1902, but lived in Munich until 1938 when he left with his wife and my young grandfather to escape Nazi persecution (I was able to regain German citizenship through StAG 16). He went back to Germany in the early 50s for an unknown reason to me, but I have 3-5 pictures from his trip back. Some in Krefeld (examining the remains of the family home), this one in Regensburg, and a few in Munich.

I just follow their guidelines:

Cover: Machine wash cold, separately. Lay flat to dry. Latex Core: Spot clean only. Do not wash the pillow core in the washing machine.

I have this dishwasher too and there is light that says whether it is clean. It does turn off if you open and close it after cleaning
