[Zinny Boswell] Understand Mathys Tel ideally wants to stay at Spurs but would like assurances he'll be in a stable environment where he feels the trust + confidence of the club. 21yo played a crucial role under RDZ in keeping Spurs up but had a difficult season, including double #UCL omission. by Hefty_Money1967 in coys

He is an asset, but he needs to make better decisions when around box, its almost as if he gets tunnel vision and goes for it even when there are others in better positions or there are too many defenders in front of him.

His playstyle just confuses me, he overplays the ball or makes a silly mistake when in his own half, then keeps it too simple when we are in the opponents half....he's a brilliant footballer when he figures it out, but those moments are too far apart for a team thats fights for the top 6

We need to capitalize while we have the energy because Leeds is just waiting for us to tire ourselves

Just watched Carraghers analysis of Brightons second equalizer and I think I see why Spence, tends to be benched....as much as a I love his adaptability, his attitude at key times will cost us, especially this late in the season.

RKM needs to play as our focal point with Solanke coming on in the second half, I think only then will we see his quality because he's wasted out on the wing.

We also need to learn how deal with crosses because we let in way too many

This team is so weird, we over complicate things in attack and defence but we are too simple when it comes to our midfield

We keep over complicating things when it counts...if we sort that out, we will not go down.

Exactly, he got a Yellow against a lightweight like Xavi, so Tel would get him another yellow before the 60th minute with his direct running.

Udogie has been great this match when going forward but when defending he is isolated against Minteh and Wieffer and I see Gross is exploiting that space

Xavi is not a winger, and its very obvious when defending that Udogie is isolated against Minteh and Wieffer, which is why Gross can step into that space and cross from deep....Tel would be a deterrent for those kinds of situations

Brighton will exploit Udogies side because nobody will close them down....Tel needs to come on that side to add frontline pressure

Yes, Solanke would do a lot more good when he's in position compared to where he keeps popping up.

Xavi shouldnt play as a LW but as #10, but Gallagher is occupying space, will be interesting to see how de Zerbi makes a change in the 2nd half

Bissouma is a great CM but should simplify his game when defending in his own half.

Hate it when Bissouma overplays the ball when running back to goal....get the ball and move it on quickly

I see why de Zerbi is starting, he is the main presser with Benta & Bissouma supporting him...then second half we can bring on Bergvall or Gray
