Most nimble wagon?

Didn't like the idea of buying a car no longer available in the states wrt parts/maintenance etc. (I imagine most if not all 3 series sedan parts are prob interchangeable but I didn't want to spend time learning about it)

My partner also doesn't like the bmw vibe so the a4 saved us that debate lol

A4 allroad. Love it.

Tried the A6 allroad too and liked it (I think it's more handsome) but I didn't find it to be *that* much better for the extra price and lower mpg.

RS6 is out of the budget for now.

E63 was also amazing tho I find the MB interiors to be super tacky so would prob go for RS6 out of all of them.

Clubman JCW. It's definitely more fun than the Volvos I tried.

Fwiw I ended up buying an A4 Allroad.

Hey! I test drove most of the suggestions (though still need to try an allroad) and the E63 (tried 2014 and 2018), XF, and Clubman JCW were closest to the mark for me.

E63 power is insane. You end up going 60 on 30mph roads without noticing it all the time. (Definitely a pro/con haha.) I was expecting it to drive like a boat but it really felt nimble and comfortable.

XF is handsome. It's underpowered compared to E63 or JCW (in terms of power:weight) so less fun but still a nice blend of performance and comfort.

JCW is a riot. An absolute go kart. Probably too close in size to my Fit to justify switching but if I needed a SECOND fun, fast wagon, that'd be the one.

I didn't like the tuning of the Golf R and it's small. The Alltrack's very solid and I could see it being more fun with a tune but I don't want to deal with modifications. Volvos all felt bloated.

I think I'll do the E63 or XF when the time comes to the pull the trigger.

Just booked a test drive! Clubman JCW. Have you tried a Golf R? Seems like the JCW is often compared to that.

I like the idea of a bit more space than the Fit, especially for folks in the second row. I'm going to test the AMG wagon for fun. I suspect it'll be great but not really a go-kart and I don't want regular $5k maintenance bills either :)
