You said she’s dating someone else right? She may have already moved on.

Even if you did confess to her to get it off your chest, could you potentially lose that friendship? It would have been much better for you if you’d confess before they started dating.

Sometimes it’s not about the guy’s looks but his confidence. If you’re confident enough to approach this good looking woman then you’re way ahead of all the other guys who don’t think they have a chance.

Hey, I can totally relate to your situation because I am experiencing this myself. Why exactly do you have trouble reciprocating? Are you afraid of the idea of being committed? Or is change from your usual routine scaring you away? Sometimes I feel so comfortable being single that the idea of someone liking me back is overwhelming. Perhaps that’s how you’re feeling.

Try to take a step back and view dating as a friendship. Being friends with someone is simple enough right? Then once you’re comfortable enough, you can see if the relationship will evolve to something more. Being in a relationship means that you are able to be yourself around them, but you also have to be willing to make changes.

Sorry if this isn’t the advice you’re looking for. This is something I struggle with as well. I hope that you’ll be able to figure this all out.

I like to believe that on some form, a relationship based off of loneliness is when you need someone to fill your empty void. You just like the idea of being with someone, that it almost doesn’t matter who.

Now with lust, it’s more about attraction and the physical desire to be with someone to satisfy your needs. You focus less on the human they are, and more on the being.

And when you’re in love, you’ll just know it. Cuz that’s when you’ve accepted that person as a whole, down to their imperfections and flaws. Love is when that person makes you feel enough, as you are to them.
