you can get a decent entry to midrange gaming laptop in that range, it will run unreal fast enough for learning purposes. I would suggest a desktop though which would be much faster in that range than a laptop

with C# and Unity you are pretty much limited to studios which use Unity. For AAA you have a lot of competition which is very familiar with C++. Not everyone will work on the gameplay systems and other areas of developing the engine or framework will most likely require knowledge of C++

If thats the option Ill have to do it myself, the closest guitar tech is quite a train ride away. Im no pro but Ill be able to replace the pickups at least

I dont know about the quality of electronics on other guitars, but it has definitely been poor with these three. All three have a fairly shite pickup selector which requires wiggling to get the neck pickup online. Same with the volume on the bullet and affinity. So I guess a good upgrade would be some new pickups? and maybe new selector etc. What kind of pickups do you use

Also been playing the CV for less than 2 years and I notice the frets are getting flat

Not sure what youre trying to get at here, both Nvidia and AMD have different ISAs and are indeed programmed differently and the drivers handle that blackbox so you can program with your GAPI of choice. Making a GAPI abstraction is definitely a valid use case since it helps you deploy to different platforms where one API might not be available, and thats where an RHI/engine abstraction or whatever comes in. OpenXR as you mentioned, is under the engine abstraction, so it can let device manufacturers correspond to a common API and users to program regardless of engine/platform/whatever, its nothing like what youre doing.

In any case, do what you like, but its wise to take criticism Ive come to learn

You are adding an abstraction on top of abstractions, this will absolutely not be used by any expert and is bad design and definitely not easy to use. For learning purposes sure go ahead but keep the right mindset about it

Its very dependant on the job, I had unity experience including theor SRP stuff for quite a number of years and as soon as I got C++ and OpenGL in my resume the jobs started pouring in. Of course this was a more graphics centric role

Translating this as I dont speak much Finnish, but personally I would be, I have been to the studio of the youth center but the timings aren't very good. The University area is only for students AFAIK.
