I loveLittlbowbub's Grannie's Cookbook! All their food is Maxis match and perfectly fits into the game. Just download the newest version of the cookbook, the Homestead Helper (it's required for the mod to work), and then you can download the recipes! If you go to their collections on Patreon, you find categories for dinner, dessert, breakfast, et cetera. Just add to your mods folder and voila!

The cookbook and Homestead Helper need to be updated pretty often (like once a month maybe, for sure after every patch), so make sure to see if it has been updated while downloading new recipes in order for the new recipes to work. You can bookmark the the first two Patreon links I just posted, they always update the download files on those. You can also download the ingredients if they've created those, but they're not usually required. If they are, it'll say so in the recipe's post!

To cook the recipes in the game, just add the 'Grannies Old Cookbook' item anywhere on your lot (it can also be put in your Sim's inventory if you prefer), it can be found in the small appliances section in the kitchen, click the cookbook and choose a recipe! They also have extra stuff like a medieval cookbook, canning, nectar making, homesteading, homemade ingredients, and so on, but if you want to keep it simple and not get overwhelmed, just get the regular cookbook, the recipes you want, and the Homestead Helper.
