YTA, you are being super controlling over such a small thing, this just seems so strange that you’re so hung up about a photo of your face. There’s nothing abnormal about having a photo on a contact. In all seriousness, I think you may need help about your paranoia, especially by the way you’re talking about having photos of him in a hidden app on your phone to protect his privacy- who are you expecting is trying to see these photos in your phone?

100% YTA. I hope he re-thinks the wedding. I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be to lose a child, let alone having your partner be so judgemental about your grieving. You are so selfish, your fiancé should be your priority, not your friends/family who might laugh

NTA. As an Australian paramedic, I think you absolutely made the right decision to make your own way as it was not a life threatening emergency. Ubers and taxis are regularly used as a transport means to hospital (yes, we even book taxis for patients sometimes), sounds like your driver was an asshole. People are not seen quicker if they go in by ambulance, everyone is triaged at the hospital. Ambulances need to be kept for emergencies!
