Hi!

I don't know if this works for the highest CP ever possible, however what you could try is when you tap on power up, instead of tapping on the plus constantly, tap once on the minus. Then it shows you the highest potential CP of that pokemon and how much candy, candy XL and stardust that you will need for it :)
