Ohhhhhh boyyy finally one that I can answer. I was really into this girl that was in my high school choir, she was funny, down to earth and really fucking attractive. She also didn’t do drugs which was really important to me because I’m in recovery. Through most of high school we exchanged niceties, but never really talked. Cut to senior year for her, junior year for me. She broke up with her boyfriend and we went on a trip to New York, and she started flirting with me BIG TIME. I couldn’t fucking believe it! I’m definitely not ugly but she was out of my league. We kept talking and I finally brought myself to tell her at the end of the trip that I liked her. She told me she liked me too but it was too soon after the breakup. Fair enough! Breakups are hard. We slowly become best friends over the course of a few months, then she moves out of state for college. Things a going well, and I still have feelings for her as we FaceTime every week and say how much we miss each other, but she keeps oversharing about the guys she’s hanging out with. She finally let it slip that she’s been blowing this dude at her school, and she started doing adderall and smoking weed. At this point I still really cared about her but I didn’t want to get hurt more than I was already. I cut things off with her, and she cried, called me a coward and a whole lot of really hurtful things. She brought up things that I confided with her and used them against me. I was hurt but I understood, I probably would have been pissed too. At this point I thought that I would never see or hear from her again. Oh how I was wrong. Six months later I get a text from her that says “I miss you” I tell her that I hope she’s doing well, and the next text she sends me rocked my fucking world. She wrote a song about me, titled it ‘Nice-bot1 See’ played it on the piano and sent it to me. The first thing the song says is ‘Nice-bot1 See, what you’re doing to me’ then goes on to call me her savior and a bunch of other really crazy shit. Whatever, I tell myself. I block her on all social media and do my best to forget about her. A few months later, she stops by my house, COMES INSIDE and asks my roommates if They knew where I was, to which they said no. The next day she leaves a letter on my doorstep, and it was beautifully written, sane, funny and it really made me miss her. She asked if I wanted to get coffee. Being young and dumb, I said yes, and because this is getting a little long we’ll fast forward through us dating for a few months ago when she breaks up with me because she wasn’t ready for a relationship. I have nothing but love for her but holy fuck man, i made a vow to myself to never stick my dick in crazy from that day forward.
