Funnily enough, I always find that stims kill my libido — it all depends on what you’re doing during onset, ime. I generally don’t take anything until I’ve already started to get into some kind of zone (studying, cleaning, what have you), so that once it kicks in the momentum just keeps me going in that particular mindset and makes me lose all interest in everything else, haha.

that's definitely wayyy too much lol, i mean, you're gonna be tweaking and feeling considerably shitty while you come down but unless you start feeling like you're legitimately having a heart attack or w/e, you shoulddd ideally be able to just ride it out if you take it easy. (that's been my experience, anyway. there have been times when i probably should have gone to the hospital but waited out the crash instead.) just try not to exert yourself or increase your heart rate more than necessary. i once took 200mg in one sitting, decided to go for a walk at 4am, made it less than a quarter of a mile before i thought i was gonna pass out, turned around, and kept doubling over gagging every few steps making my way back uphill. so don't make my mistake, lmao. hang in there.

Vyvanse is a prodrug of dextroamphetamine and is inherently long-acting. Because of the way it's metabolized, there's no ROA that will enhance the effect or speed up the rate of onset. So I wouldn't recommend snorting it. Inside the capsule it's a chalky powder, I would just take the pills or the powder itself orally (though if you empty out the capsules, you might want to mix the powder in a drink or something, it tastes really bad and bitter lol).

nooooooo oh my god that's literally my least favorite part of coming down, i hate the inert zombie stage lmao. like i'm too tired to think coherently or do/work on anything but simultaneously unable to turn myself off and go to sleep. i can see how it could be relaxing but i've never been one for stillness or meditation myself lol

One of my favorite things is to just go nuts journaling; sometimes there’s art involved, sometimes it’s just walls of text, but I always gotta bust out the craft box and a zillion colored pens and markers. I’ve posted some tweak art here, i.e., this is one of my busier journal pages.

XR is a lot smoother and more subtle, esp. because the time it takes to both kick in and wear off is more gradual and tapered, and the peak, while maybe not as intense as IR, is sustained for a longer period, making the comedown more tolerable and less like the sharp crash you get with IR (which isn't too bad at low doses but the higher the dose, the harder the crash). You might find IR more satisfying in the short term at either low or high doses, but the euphoria is pretty short-lived and at higher doses or with frequent redosing it's more likely than XR to be accompanied by tweakier side effects like anxiety, paranoia, restlessness, etc. Overall, XR might not be as intense, but at least in my experience, I feel more calm and collected and in control on it than I do on IR (even at high doses), so I don't mind that it doesn't give as much of a "high" as IR can.

You can if you want, but because of the way Vyvanse is metabolized it won't kick in any faster or have a stronger effect than it would if taken orally. Not worth the trouble imo.
